Recently, Vietnam Agarwood Association successfully organized the Vietnam Agarwood Congress and officially launched 21 members. Entrepreneur Nguyen Van Binh, Chairman of Binh Nghia Agarwood Company holds the position of Vice Chairman of the 3rd Vietnam Agarwood Association, term 2023 - 2028.

Established and launched over the past 10 years, the Vietnam Agarwood Association has continuously developed sustainably. Having achieved results after 10 years, the Association has always received the attention of agencies, departments and branches, especially localities, always creating development conditions for organizations and individuals involved in the cultivation of Agarwood tree gourd, creating Agarwood from Agarwood trees and developing Agarwood products.

As a result, it has initially raised the economic efficiency of Vietnam's Agarwood tree. The fact that many farmers have replanted Agarwood in their home gardens has partly diversified farming, helping farmers to start working more efficiently than before, and ending the danger of extinction of the precious tree species in Vietnam.

Although the State and departments have had a number of preferential policies directly to the development of Agarwood tree for nearly 10 years, it is still too modest with the development requirements of the current industry and Future.

Through the Vietnam Agarwood Association, the full recommendations and urgent requirements of Agarwood growers, production and manufacturing organizations of Agarwood products, and localities where Agarwood trees are grown Agarwood production needs to be paid more attention by the Government and related sectors to promote the development of the fledgling Agarwood industry, partly helping to improve the crop structure in a positive way, contributing to eradicating poverty reduction for local farmers in the whole country.

At the Vietnam Agarwood Association Congress in 3023, the Association also announced the operation plan, implemented action programs to continue supporting members and farmers, promoting the achievements that the Association has built and developed over 10 years. Chairman of the Association, 3 people were elected Vice President of the Association, including: Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu. The Vietnam Agarwood Association has elected Mr. Doan Thanh Hoang as Head of the 3rd Vietnam Agarwood Association Inspection Committee, term 2023-2028.

Sharing his feelings when taking on a new task, businessman Doan Thanh Hoang said: "As a member of Agarwood Association, Head of the Association's Inspection Committee, I always accompany information on craft villages from the South to the North for the members of the Vietnam Agarwood Association from cultivation, production to business, to develop together to bring Vietnam's agarwood industry to develop and reach out to the world market in general and Vietnam in particular".
